Our client wished to significantly extend and remodel the ground floor of their semi-detached home in Eastbourne, which is situated on a tightly packed street. They were struggling with the limited space in their home and desired more of an 'open-plan' layout.
We designed the extension to maximise available space on the ground floor. This involved construction of a single storey rear extension to create a large, open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. In keeping with the client's desired aesthetic, we planned for a modern finish throughout, including subtle skylights and an 'industrial' style paint scheme.
The client was extremely pleased with the final build. It met their exact specification, both in terms of style and functionality, and has allowed them far more space in their home. They were also able to host their entire family at Christmas for the first time!
